What happens when you fall into an MMO cesspool

There’s someone in my life, who I keep anonymous to protect the guilty, who is balls deep into the cesspool of the MMO, make money online, world.
She’s been in this world for the past couple of years. But has yet to make a single doll-hair (even though, years ago, I tried to set her straight and get her to focus on building actual skills that can be leveraged for actual moolah).
This is despite…
* Buying some internet marketing course (that she told me was “fantastic) and that she was able to resell as an affiliate
* Creating a whole bunch of… journals, I think?... and adding them to Amazon
* Starting and growing a TikTok channel to the point she was able to add the TikTok shop
* Befriending AI and using it to write anything from her website to a Facebook post about someone’s birthday to literally anything else she could think of
* And, most recently, she abandoned much of this to jump into a pyramid scheme that’s she “promises will be bigger than digital marketing and at the ground level now and so if I get in now, I’ll be one of the guys at the top when it blows up because it will”
Worst part?
She’ll talk your ear off for hours if’n you let her once she starts talking about the amazing world of digital marketing and making money online.
Like, for example:
She wanted to promote my services to her TikTok (of which I denied) and her idea was…
Wait for it…
To have ME interview HER about digital marketing.
Never mind the fact that I’ve actually done something with my copy and marketing skills to get paid, get my clients paid, and continue to get paid, each and every month, for 71 straight months.
This is what happens to your brain on MMO.
And it’s why I’ve never been attracted to the MMO niche. At best, you’re giving your audience quick dopamine hits when they buy. At worst, you’re sabotaging their mental and financial health while you become an annoying cretin who can only utter out, “join my downline, I only need 3 more people.”
Anywho:
Hit reply if you have a real business with a real offer that really helps your customers.
