The weird best place to write

I’ve been cooking up content all day from the passenger’s seat.

Tis my favorite place to write. Trees all around me. Music blaring. The sun shining through. My fingers prittling and prattling away.

It doesn't hurt that there ain’t much else to do. Especially because I had vacation levels of productivity this week. Deadlines just inspire action, yanno?

Anywho:

Write in the car more often. Methinks it's one of the better ways to improve your skills. For no reason other than having no distractions.

Squeezing in work like this gives me a deep sense of gratitude. There’s never been a better time in human history (barring the civilizations who lived thousands of years before the Great Egyptians) for working while doing something else.

Either on a road trip.

Standing in line.

In between other work (I’m currently setting up a long and tedious IP warmup series of emails for a new client).

Heck, even the wifi on planes is getting better, so I hear.

It also reminds me of high school: So many jabronis wouldn’t do their homework when we got time to do so in class. I always did and never had to do homework outside of school.

Several obvious lessons in here.

But this next one ain’t as obvious:

Replying to this email ensures you’re one of the first people I respond to when I get back to my office.

So, hit reply mate.

Let’s hop on a call when I get back.

And let’s both use my vacay to grow our businesses.

Deal?

John
