In comes a recent testimonial I just received on Twitter from @phoenixcopy (give him a follow if’n you desire):
==
I sign up for almost every Twitter copywriter email list I come across (for the culture)
@profit1stemails is the only one I read every day
==
(That’s my Twitter @ name for those who don’t follow me.)
First, thank you for the kind words.
Second, dude is smart.
Not just because he signs up for other copywriting lists to keep his pen sharp. But also because he opens and reads these here emails every day.
And in my – biased, but true – opinion, making reading my emails a habit is one of the best ways to up your own copywriting game.
Why?
There are a bunch o’ reasons. Let’s go through a few:
1. If you want to get better at copy, reading copy every day is one of the best activities you can do.
This is a real “Obvious Adams” insight — but you’d be surprised by how many self-proclaimed copywriters don’t read much copy.
2. I’m showing you in real time how to take mundane parts of your life and transform them into a powerful story which fills your coffers with sweet cashola.
In the past couple of days, I’ve written about jeen-yuhs, the prodbyzacc da 🐐 no 🧢 guy on IG, Netflix, and traveling. Of all these topics, only the traveling email is “sexy.” The rest is stuff you can easily do too once you “perk” up your eyes and ears to all the possible content ideas around you.
3. I share practical insights that will make you better at sending profitable emails if you apply them to your emails.
And I like to think I add a bit more creativity and entertainment value than other copywriters who lull their audience to sleep with facts and figures. (This is also a key strategy I use for writing in the alternative health space.)
4. Because this is *my* list, I have all the creative freedom I want.
Which means you have more fun and learn more when you read my emails. These emails are off the cuff, kinda like a gunslinger's fingers who control themselves.
Of course, there are several other reasons. But I’m writing this in a car and rather hang out with my chick (lesson in there).
Anyway, if you need the self-proclaimed best “up-and-coming” copywriter in the world to help you send more profitable and entertaining emails, book a call and let’s talk.
(Warning: you MUST have a proven offer.)
