Lazy’s way to write copy

You know, sometimes I feel like a complete nincumpoop.
Take, for example, the fact that one of my clients has a private Facebook group filled with some of his most engaged customers. Now, Facebook groups are a bit of a cesspool, especially when you try searching for specific “ammo” to use in your copy.
Well, despite having access to this group for a while, it never crossed ya humble narrator’s mind that instead of searching the Facebook abyss for copy “ammo,” I could just ask.
And so, that’s exactly what I did.
I posted anonymously and asked the customers about the best way to convince my friend to join.
When I checked on the post the next day, I had 20+ great answers, which I simply copied and pasted into an email.
Another email that took no longer than 5 minutes to write and that will generate thousands of doll-hairs for my client.
(I haven’t sent it yet, so I can’t give specifics.)
But it also made me realize what a complete nincumpoop I’ve been for not doing this sooner.
Ah well - better late than never, eh?
Anyhoo:
Hit reply if you wanna turn on the email engine that’s sitting quietly in the garage of your bidness.
