Important email setting now required for deliverability

My day’s been slamma-jamma packed, hence this email hitting your inbox so late in the day.

Why?

Well, one reason is one of my clients uses a different “reply-to” email address than his “from” address.

This is no longer allowed due to tightening email restrictions from Gmail, Yahoo, Microsoft, and the like to cut down on spam. (Which has become hideously bad over the past year and some change.)

Starting May 20, your “reply-to” email address must have the same domain as your “from” email address.

Alas, one of my clients did not already do this, and so I’ve been spending the day stuck in flows, changing the old reply-to email address to one that matches our sending domain.

You must do this too if you want your emails to get delivered.

Hit reply if you don’t understand what’s required or need help.

I’ll try to respond in a timely manner.

John
